Dial 20222 and then text “swat”. Come On, Now!
During her press briefing yesterday about the US humanitarian aid package for Pakistan, Secretary Clinton announced a quick, easy way to help out the growing number of displaced refugees and others attempting to flee the Taliban and other extremists in and around the swat valley:
“Now, Americans can use technology to help, as well. Using your cell phones, Americans can text the word “swat” — to the number 20222 and make a $5 contribution that will help the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees provide tents, clothing, food, and medicine to hundreds of thousands of affected people. And before I came over here, we did that in the State Department. So we are making some of the first donations to this fund.”
Even during these difficult economic times, some of us can afford to give $5 to help people who literally are fleeing for their lives. So, text away…
Just don’t text while driving!
Every little bit helps.

Hi there, sounds good here.
