The ‘Hillary Platter’ and A Bit of Shopping
In the midst of television interviews, tours of agricultural areas, meetings, press Q&A’s and mini-speeches, Secretary Clinton was able to get in some shopping and get a food platter named after her at one of her favorite restaurants:
The Hillary Platter!
When Bill Clinton had visited India, the Clintons had visited Bukhara, leading to the creation of a special Bill Clinton platter which is now one of the most popular items on the menu list. On Sunday, Hillary arrived at Bukhara dressed in a turquoise jacket and black formal trousers.
According to Maurya sources, she reached the hotel around 8.30pm along with seven officials. She ordered murgh malai kabab, seekh kabab, paneer tikka, tandoori aloo, sikandari raan, dal bukhara, tandoori jinga, mixed raita, naan and ras malai (she later changed the dessert order to kulfi).
