By the way, how is that Carl Bernstein book? I read some excerpts and thought they were excessively negative and snotty. But I haven’t read the entire book and wonder if it’s worth doing.
Elizabeth- based on what I had heard prior to reading it, I was actually expecting it to be more negative than I ended up thinking it was- I certainly don’t think he set out to write a hit-piece by any stretch of the imagination. I would have preferred that it had been an authorized biography, but it wasn’t. There was obviously some stuff (like his or someone elses interpretation of events) which one could take issue with but I just dismissed things like that and that tends to be true of any biography which *isn’t* authorized. Overall, I would say I thought it was worth reading.

The photo bomb is exceptional. I love the face in the first pic. There she is looking up again in a house of worship – she AWAYS does that. Gadhafi’s son in the sharkskin suit. And I LOVE that blue ruffled suit – especially the pic with Lavrov – she’s gorgeous!

Cats rule! The Berstein biography has one flaw, it spends very little time on Hillary’s run for the Senate and her work during her first and second term there. I felt sort of short changed. Must have been completed in 2005 or 2006 for publication in 2007. In four or five years it will be time for a new Hillary biography covering her life in elected and appointed office. She will also have to update her History tome.
Stacy, how do we upload an avatar to go with our comments? That’s a question I’ve wanted to ask for a while. Do we have to register on the blogger home page? Do only registered bloggers have avatars? These patchwork quilt designs are fine but they don’t say much about us.
Terry- right on both counts- yes, cats (especially mine) rule and yes, I agree about the book not focusing much on her Senate run and time there.
Terry- you are not the first to ask me that- I believe you have to register with wordpress.com and then upload a photo you want to use- I’ve looked at my administrator controls and I don’t see a way fir me to do it for you guys. The upshot of taking the extra 3 minutes to register with wordpress is that your avatar will automatically appear with your comment any time you post on any wordpress blog. I kin of think it’s worth doing and I personally hate the patchwork squares

I love the pics and your cat is adorable. I have lots of cats and kittens. I have a Hillary Rodham Clinton she is feral but she loves me. She was born during the PA Primary.
Her brother’s name is Bill but he got adopted. Hillary is to feral and would have kept her anyway. She is completely black not one spot of white anywhere.
hillarysmygirl16- I have some stray cats in the neighborhood and I wish I could take them in but the last time I did that, Ninotchka (“notch”) – that’s my cat- didn’t take well to the new kitten and she stopped eating, lost tons of weight and I thought she was not going to make it- so no more stray cats for me, but it breaks my heart to see them all. People who don’t spay/neuter their outdoor cats drive me nuts.
