Reminder: HRC on MTP and ‘This Week’ Tomorrow Morning
I know I’ve already posted about the Sunday talk shows but don’t forget:
Foreign and domestic issues will share time on Sunday morning’s talk show circuit.
Fallout from the Obama administration’s decision to try suspected terrorists in civilian courts as well as President Barack Obama’s impending decision on U.S. strategy in Afghanistan will dominate alongside discussion over the Senate’s coming debate over healthcare reform.
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, who spent the second half of this week in southeast Asia, will appear on both NBC’s “Meet the Press” and ABC’s “Face the Nation” this Sunday.
Clinton, who has participated in Obama’s strategy sessions over Afghanistan in this week, will face questions on the progress of those deliberations, as well as her reportedly favoring a surge in troops as requested by Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the top commander in Afghanistan.
The secretary of State is also likely to face questions on the implications of the decision announced Friday to move terror suspects, including alleged 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, to New York (the state Clinton had represented in the Senate) to face trial…

Thanks for the heads up Stacy. I have just got back from a trip up to Penna and NJ and I am so glad to be back in Florida. Missed reading all your up dates on Madame Secretary. WOW!! I don’t know how she does it. She is everywhere. She is really working hard. God Bless her. Her heart and soul is in this and every trip she goes on.
Welcome back! I grew up in PA but I bet you are glad to be back in Florida after the terrible weather you probably experienced in NJ and PA (it’s pretty much the same here in Boston right now).
Thanks Stacy, I just saw her on “Meet the Press” and boy, she was sharp today. Right on task. She knows the issues of Foreign policy with China very well. What a wonderful diplomat for representing our country. I am so proud of her. By the way she looks fabulous, stunning and so pretty this morning.
ABC..”This Week” was just on and once again she was sharp as a whip. Good job Madam Secretary, We love you and are so proud of you.
