I canNOT get this video to embed on my blog even with vodpod, so I am going to have call David Gregory on this here (and Yes, I am going to yell):

NIXON WAS NOT IMPEACHED, DAVID! NOT IMPEACHED! HE RESIGNED BEFORE THEY HAD A CHANCE TO IMPEACH HIM!!!!

LAMENESS, DAVID! GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!!!!!

(Whew! I feel better after that. Seriously, how much does he get paid? And I believe he said this TWICE!)

she looks absolutely beautiful in this video. Oddly, she looks rested (how’s that!!). Of course, she sounds and is Presidential, forceful and in charge. Love her comments about coffee with Palin. I’m especially happy she pointed out that in 2001 we had a surplus and if we had stayed on that path – we would have been in good financial shape. Question – she pointed out “when I ran for President” and she pointed out about Clinton’s (Bill) good economic stance – what do you all think??? is she re-thinking (2012?)……

Just to be clear about that coffee date, here’s her whole comment:

Well, I absolutely would look forward to having coffee. I’ve never met her, and I think it would be very interesting to sit down and talk with her. And I’ve got more than I can say grace over to read. But obviously, in the next week, there’s going to be a lot of attention paid to her book, and I’m sure that I’ll see excerpts printed and snippets of interviews as I channel surf in Singapore and in Shanghai and in Beijing. But I’m ready to have a cup of coffee. Maybe I can make a case on some of the issues that we disagree on.(Laughter.)

    1. She has no intention of reading the book.
    2. I hope no one is thinking that this ends up as a 3rd party ticket. She’s saying she’d do it if she can argue.

They are oceans apart, as I have said way too many times.

I think the more likely scenerio is that Palin will get the R nomination (she excites the base) in 2012 and Obama, out of fear of losing women voters, especially independents, will make Hillary VP – which sets her up nicely for 2016. I think the coffee comment is a.) being polite and b.) the ole Bill motto – “keep your friends close and your enemies closer”. I’ve never known a Clinton NOT to talk to the “other side”.

The Sec. was right on this morning. She looks lovely and yes so well rested. She represents The United States of America, how great is that. We are all so proud of her.
