Everyone have a safe and happy holiday! Thanks to everyone who takes the time to visit this blog and leave comments (both positive and negative) and also to all the people who are kind enough to help me stay on top of everything the Secretary of State is doing by sending me emails with links to news articles, photos, videos etc.

Scooter and Notch got lots of little gifts before I left yesterday for PA to visit my dad (that’s where I am right now) so they are back in Boston eating just the normal cat fare.
And that bag actually isn’t so giant- it’s just that Scooter is relatively small (she weighs in at a whopping 7lbs!)
I meant Giant as in the grocery store, not the size of the bag. I have a bag from Giant Foods that looks a lot like that, so I assumed that’s what it was, but I could be wrong!
Ahhh! I forgot there was a Giant grocery store, I thought you originally were referring to the size of the bag but the fact that you capitalized the word “Giant” should have clued me in. The bag in the photo is actually from our Stop & Shop grocery store- grocery stores probably all have pretty similar bags like that.
To Scooter, its not a grocery bag, it’s a place to hang out and play in- she will hide her toys in there and likes to sometimes sleep in them. She gets upset if I put the bags away so now they just all stay out on the floor for her royal highness to play with.

Happy holidays to all, creatures large and small. I’m in California where the weather is less brutal. Hope everyone is managing fine and enjoying your slowdown. Thanks always to Stacy and this blog which I visit at least five times a day and is always the first tab I open in the morning.
