More Videos, Images from Hillary Clinton’s Trip to Haiti **UPDATED**
For the video of her press conference see here (and other posts from yesterday). Thanks again to the folks in the comments who have been dropping links to videos and news stories- I’m moving videos from the comment section to the main part of posts. Here are more videos and photos from yesterday:
A Coast Guard petty officer took this video and it’s great:
And from Andrea Mitchell’s report:
And here is the interview with Sanjay Gupta:
UPDATE: Here is Secretary Clinton’s interview with ABC’s Good Morning America- I can’t get the video embedded but this will take you to the video.
UPDATE II: Here is part of Greta Van Susteren’s interview with Secy Clinton. It’s not the entire interview- the rest of the interview will air at 10pm on Monday on Greta’s show on Fox. Greta was traveling with her so her page is a good source of behind-the-scenes info. about the trip.

Stacy, thank you so much for keeping us updated with news, photos, and videos of our caring SOS. I have been reading your blog for a while, and just feel I need to let you know you have a very vigilant reader.
With a crisis like this, the motto is all hands on deck.
Mimit- thank you very much- I like when people de-lurk!
*yawn*
Thanks for these. I saw the Andrea Mitchell one but couldn’t find the others. Thanks for being on top of it as always.
What’s up with Dipnotes today? I haven’t seen them tweeting anything and I’ve been at my desk working with twitter open. They finally started tweeting about Secretary Clinton’s trip yesterday afternoon but nothing before that.
Yes thanks for these updates- I’ve been stopping over here all day yesterday and today to get updates on the Secretary’s trip and her statements and the major networks have a tendency to show the same clips over and over and once her press conference was over I couldn’t find the interviews I knew she must have given.
So to Stacey thanks for all the information you are providing. Its nice to have it all in one place.
You are welcome help4haiti but you don’t need to thank me- I really enjoy blogging about the Secretary and what she’s doing. I also appreciate all the emails I’ve received pointing me to different sites and different information to help me update the site. Sometimes waiting for info. to be updated is like watching paint dry and I can’t spend *all* day looking for stuff so its been helpful to have help!
Steve- I was a little surprised that yesterday I wasn’t seeing any tweets until the afternoon but perhaps they were just waiting for the Secy to land- I should probably be more patient I guess we should allow them to have some time off too
. I went over to Dipnotes yesterday earlier in the day and asked if they would be covering the trip to Haiti and I don’t think they appreciated my question (although I wasn’t rude at all-I was really just wondering because I figured that would have the best information about when she would be leaving for Haiti etc.) because they didn’t approve my comment for publication on the blog with the others. Once the Secy landed they started tweeting a lot so that was helpful.
I went over to Dipnotes today and they have the site updated with a lot more information about her trip and what’s going on with USAID and the recovery effort. For those that use Twitter frequently another good State Dept. source is http://twitter.com/KateAtState/
An interesting article which was written by Greta Van Susteren. She was in Haiti with Madame Secretary. Greta wrote about her angle of vision on Secretary Clinton´s impact on the situation on the ground during their staying.

Thanks Lucy. I was hoping Greta would have the video up of her entire interview but I think it’s just a snippet- I don’t know if a longer version aired on Fox or not. There is no way to embed the video here but I’ll look for it on YouTube.
I believe Greta will be on Geraldo’s show tonight at 10pm eastern. At least that is what the sound bite said. Thanks to Lucy for linking Greta’s excellent response/rebuttal to some criticism from bloggers on GretaWire about Secretary Clinton’s trip to Haiti. It is absolutely appalling that some would take political swipes against her at a time like this! Kudos to Greta for setting the RECORD straight!
While there are always going to be a contingent of people who will criticize everything she does, I’ve been heartened to see that that is not the prevailing view at *all*. In fact, the media have gone out of their way to point out that she hitched a ride on a C-130 and they brought needed supplies and took American citizens back so there is really nothing to criticize.
The Red Cross text donation number (90099) has already raised $4 million. At $10 per text, that’s 400,000 texts so far.
Now of course publicity-whore Bill Clinton is on his way to Haiti b/c that’s just what the people need- him and his entourage of secret service, personal aides and (probably women too) to go reassure the people that Big Dawg is there to help them. The guy can’t help himself-he’s ALWAYS got to be the center of attention. He should be in the U.S. pressing flesh and raising even more cash. He’s another one that likes to make every tragedy about him- dying people in Haiti don’t care where he stayed in the 1970′s, they want water. He should go to Haiti when the coverage starts to slip and Americans are on to the next big thing- he can help keep it in the news.
AB- you just talk out your ass most of the time, don’t you?
You American Bill are now officially laughable. Nevermind that Bill has already raised millions for Haiti, nevermind he is the special envoy, nevermind CGI getting money for Haiti for years, let’s just ignore all that.
