President Bill Clinton Hospitalized, Doing Well
Former President Bill Clinton was taken to Columbia Presbyterian for chest pain and had two stents placed in one of his coronary arteries. He is reportedly doing well, which is a relief. And of course, he’s in good hands, ’cause you can hardly do better than Columbia for medical care- and it’s also where he had his quadruple bypass six years ago.
I just saw Jill Dougherty tweet that Secretary Clinton will postpone her trip to Qatar by one day (so I guess she’ll leave Saturday).
Ok, now the update is posted on CNN:
Despite other media reports that he had left the hospital, Clinton remained there Thursday evening, a spokesman for the hospital said.
A source close to the former president said “he is fine” and will recuperate.

His wife, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, left the White House after a meeting in the Oval Office and headed to New York, a State Department official said. A senior U.S. official said Hillary Clinton’s planned trip to the Middle East will be delayed until Saturday. She had been scheduled to depart Friday afternoon….
Secretary Clinton is at the hospital now, so that’s good.
I hope Pres. Clinton has a speedy recovery and I hope Secretary Clinton has a safe trip (with lots of good media coverage and photos/video!)

Okay nowhere else to put this. But I was watching morning joe this morning and almost had a coranary. We all need to email them. They were talking about the Congo and why none of the leaders in Washington or reporters were talking about it and how we don’t care about Africa. I emailed them if they and the rest of the msm werent so interested in sensationalism they would have realized the Secretary Clinton visited that country last year to address that plight but all the msm cared about was her comment about Bill.
