Great I was hoping you would do a photo bomb. Glad you took our advice and had some coffee and got some sleep so you’d feel better today! ;)

You always manage to find photos every week that I haven’t seen. Not quite sure how you do it.

I love the one with the yellow scarf also. This makes our hearts warm this morning. Thank you so much Stacy.

I try to find some photos each weekend that I haven’t seen before. I try to use different search engines and photo searches and I can usually find a few I haven’t seen before. Pretty soon I’m going to need an external drive for all the photos I have saved on my ‘puter!

    Outstanding photos as usual.

I guess Secy Clinton leaves today for Latin America?

On another topic- you were right Stacy- over the past week I have seen an exponential increase in the number of editorials and commentaries calling for military action in Iran and yes, it’s from the very same people who called for war with Iraq and were never held accountable for being so wrong about everything. Leading the charge is the NY Times, WaPo, the New Republic, The National Review and of course Fox News, who thinks everyone in the Muslim world is an Islamofascist. So much for the liberal media. R.I.P.

Such a pleasure, and don’t you dare ever leave out those cats! They’re like my icing on the cake.

On another subject, I was wondering if you saw this, and if so, what your reaction was — it is something I felt strongly about way back in the spring of 2008 when the Democratic elders were trying to force Hillary out of the race prematurely.

Carolyn- I think it’s possible that behind the scenes they turned on her and stabbed her in the back. If so and they didn’t have the guts to openly declare their allegiance, then they are cowards. Of course, I don’t know that that’s the case and maybe I’m just paranoid. But I do think the Senate is one of the most un-representative bodies in this country- it doesn’t look anything like the U.S. Where are all the women? I don’t cry sexism at the drop of a hat but I think the Boys Club is just that- a boys club and I wonder if a lot of them did not want her to be POTUS. And that goes for many in the media too. Why is it that the MSM only stops Hillary-bashing now that she’s seen [by them] as “out of the way” so-to-speak as SOS? It’s disgusting to watch Chris Mathews gush over Hillary now that he deems her to not be a threat.

I don’t know if you heard about one part in the book ‘Game Change’- and who knows how much of it is true because the book has all anonymous sourcing- where during one of the early debates Hillary was doing well and at a commercial break Edwards purportedly walked over to Obama and said something like “come on, concentrate…” because according to the authors they were all ganging up on her and wanted to knock her out early. But why her? Why not knock the new guy, Obama, out early?

If the claims of big names Senators like Schumer, Reid and others backing Obama from the very beginning then she had a much tougher mountain to climb because of the electoral college and all the behind-the-scenes machinations going on there. And of course, it played a role in their calls for her to bow out early. If that *did* happen then it was shameful, really. But then, who knows if what’s in ‘Game Change’ is true – the sourcing sucks, the authors have an agenda and there is no way to fact-check because everything is anonymous. So anyone with an axe to grind could say anything.

Slightly off-topic, but I had to share my thoughts on Chris Matthews – the pompous, braying jackass of political punditry. He reminds me of the little boy in school who likes a girl and therefore says every possible bad thing about as a means of denying his crush and I do think that Mr. Matthews has a raging, third-grade style crush on Secretary Clinton and has for quite a while. Anyone remember him pinching her cheek during the campaign? Weirdest election moment of 2008! Something makes me think that Barak Obama isn’t the only politician that makes thrills run through various areas of his anatomy.

Carolyn (Rodham) I saw it and it makes me so sad. But we will remember well.

Carolyn and all, we will never and must never forget. Our country is where it is now, diminished and suffering, because of what they did to Hillary.

Stacy, thank you for this regular fix – beautiful and refreshing!

    Stacy,

You inspired me to create a “Photo Bomb” of sorts on my own blog and I now have FAR more appreciation for the work you put into these post – and believe me, I wasn’t taking it for granted before. Great work!
