11:40 a.m. Secretary Clinton attends General Jones’ Meeting with Northern Ireland First Minister Peter Robinson and Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness, at the Department of State.PM Secretary Clinton, accompanied by Special Envoy George Mitchell, Under Secretary Bill Burns and Assistant Secretary Phil Gordon, departs for Foreign Travel to Moscow.

Carolyn- WMC = Women’s Media Center. It was early in the summer, I’ll go find the link and come back with it in a bit – I don’t know if Stacy has seen this comment- if so she must have a link. I do remember the article made its way all around the internet and she was interviewed by MSNBC.

go to the State Dep website and there’s a video of Hillary’s remarks at the National Gala of American Ireland Fund.She’s wearing the same bright blue dress of the last galas she’s attended, but anyway she looks great and beautiful as always!Bill was escorting her to it!

it’s certainly her favorite gown, lol. some fashion web site said it resembled a prom dress, but i think it looks great on her.
Darn I was hoping to see some pictures of her with bill from the event.
I have some photos of the event but I am not going to be able to post them (and the video) until later in the evening. Way too busy right now

The cut of that dress is extremely flattering for her. Why bother with something new when you already have something that makes you look good? I’m a musician and let me tell you, if I could find something that was that flattering for me, I would go dress shopping far less often. Lucky Secretary of State Clinton!
I think that Hillary is exactly true with herself when she says that she never cared that much about what she wears because she was taught to see inside’s people value, not the exterior appearance,and I think that she’s absolute free when she easily could be a fashion icon, but all her life she’s been a “woman with substance” and as she said on VOGUE, she’s tried to live all her life with a sense of purpose.I think that’s one of the reasons that we all love her; because she’s a woman of substance and an extraordinary human been!
