Okay so I love the hat. So wonder how bad the president of Iran is gonna degrade Hillary at the UN.
I’ll post the hat pictures later. I couldn’t last night, I was sick and so I posted a few things and went to bed.
As for Iran, the best thing to do with Ahmadinejad when he is acting like a toddler having a tantrum is to not give him the response he wants which unfortunately we (as in the whole world) basically do. He’ll say outrageous things about the US and Israel and we’ll respond and talk about what a danger he is, etc. etc. It’s political theater.
If he were smart (and I’m playing devil’s advocate here) he would show up and surprise EVERYONE by being respectful and make a reasoned, coherent case for why his nuclear program is a civilian one, about how Islam forbids the use of nukes and how he plans to work with the international community on nuclear issues. He could also throw in a gratuitous comment about Israel being allowed to have nukes and about the U.S. having used them twice – you see, you would think he would understand that when he acts like a damn fool, whatever VERY FEW legitimate points he makes (on the rare occasion that he makes them) are undermined by his ridiculous anti-American and anti-Israel rhetoric. If he would act like a world leader instead of like some paranoid hatemonger in a Members Only jacket who is high on cocaine, it would be much harder for the world to lash out at him for being hateful, paranoid, dangerous and nutty. But, I’m not really all that interested in serving as his political adviser, I’m just saying sometimes I look at him, Chavez and some others and think “are they really so dumb?”
