High-Five!
Here’s a nice story about Tommy McFly, a radio host in DC who worked on Senator Clinton’s campaign in 2008- he ran into her at a restaurant in DC not long ago and said she couldn’t have been more friendly and down to earth:
It was an average day, having lunch with a friend at Bourbon Steak in the Four Seasons Georgetown. We were halfway thru the lobster corndogs and black truffle rolls when a bunch of serious looking dudes in suits appeared. They were clearling scoping out the place and getting ready for something. . .or someone. I went back to enjoying my would-chose-it-for-my-last-meal-on-planet-earth filet when
First LadySenator Secretary of State Hillary Clinton showed up for lunch with who I later found out was the King of Jordan. Secretary Clinton and I were leaving around the same time and when the moment was right, we asked for a photo. I told her I had volunteered on her campaign and the rest went like this…HRC – Thank you so much! That’s great. (Said with Hillary Smile) What are you doing now?
TM – Well, I host the evening show for MIX107.3!
HRC – Alllright! (Puts hand in the air…)YEP I “HIGH FIVED” THE SECRETARY OF STATE!
I actually left her hangin for a second on said high five because it took me a minute to compute that that was what was about to happen. Hillary Clinton could NOT have been nicer or more personable.

too cute!! glad he didnt leave her hanging.
thank you for the story Stacy! That’s why we all love Hillary, because she’s a real person and an extraordinary human being! God bless her forever!

Wonderful story. I think I may love her even more now, which I didn’t think was possible.
! *mouth gaping in jealousy* I reeeeeally want to be him. Sigh. That would pretty much the awesomest thing ever. Nice job finding this, I wouldn’t even know how to find this story.
This is great, thanks so much Stacy- can always rely on you to go digging for stuff other people never find!
That is a great little story- a lot of people in positions of power wouldn’t have given that guy the time of day but it was great that Hillary did.
