Sunday Afternoon Photo Bomb: The 9/12 Edition

Rough weekend. Divisive. We used to be able to put our differences aside at times like these- like immediately following 9/11 and on each successive anniversary. Not anymore.
It’s Sunday so that means Photo Bomb. For your viewing pleasure:
And then of course, the cats. This photo of Notch is from a month ago. Sadly, Notch isn’t feeling well these days and it’s almost impossible to get a photo of her when she’s doing anything other than sleeping. She’s been sick and I’ve just been trying to keep her comfortable. While I dread it, it’s getting to the point where soon I will have to make a very hard, but necessary, choice.

Wow, you spoil us! These are great! Where’d you find those photos of her in Ireland (where she’s wearing the yellow scarf)? I don’t know how you manage to dig up so many new photos week after week.
On another note- I am sorry to hear that Notch isn’t doing well. It’s never easy putting an animal down but know that when the time comes you are doing the right thing if her quality of life isn’t good. It’s obvious that she’s had a long, fantastic life and has been well taken care of and loved (and perhaps a bit spoiled?
).
Scooter is cute as always- she looks like a little trouble maker, that one!

Great photos! I love that blue dress she wears for formal occasions. That was in N. Ireland right? Or was it when Irish diplomats were visiting Washington? I also like seeing her in cars. I don’t know why.
The cats as always are adorable. That last photo of Scooter is the most serious I’ve ever seenher look! Usually she has a mischievous look on her face! Poor Notch. I hope she feels better and stays comfortable. She’s got a great mom who obviously takes great care and dotes on her.
Great photo bomb. As to your statement about this weekend, I couldn’t agree more. What a difference a year makes.
I’m sorry to hear that Notch is unwell. It’s never easy watching our pets deal with illness or the effects of their years. My thoughts are with the both of you.

Favorite: about 61 photos down, Hillary in her Presidential blue seat — is she rosing out of or settling into the chair? — American flag behind her, and a truly wonderful smile on her face. It just screams, “President Clinton.”
