12:00 p.m. Secretary Clinton meets with Secretary of Defense Bob Gates and National Security Advisor Tom Donilon, at the White House.
1:45 p.m. Secretary Clinton meets with Administrator Shah and the senior development team, at the Department of State.
3:45 p.m. Secretary Clinton meets with the new Ambassador to Turkey, Frank Ricciardone, at the Department of State.
4:30 p.m. Secretary Clinton meets with President Obama and Secretary of Defense Bob Gates, at the White House.
6:15 p.m. Secretary Clinton attends a meeting at the White House.

What a busy foreign policy week! Tunisia, the shakeup in the Israeli cabinet, China’s state visit. There’s a lot of speculation about the state dinner. Some are saying Barack Obama gave away too much to China in return for nothing. I guess GW Bush had refused to give China a full red-carpet, state dinner because of their human rights record and for other reasons. It does seem like this administration is very, very deferential to China.
