The Sunday Afternoon Photo Bomb: SOS Hillary Clinton (and the cats!)
January 30, 2011
Ok, I am taking a break from Egypt stuff for a while although I have to say it’s just incredible to watch events unfold. I can’t help but feel like we are seeing history in the making, to what end we don’t yet know.
There are a few photos of Secretary Clinton as she arrives in Haiti and speaks to the press. You’ll know them when you see them because she’s wearing the cool blue scarf

Whoa, Ziggy, slow down on the catnip man!
I am totally psyched that Ziggy and Scooter have become friends. That’s pretty quick b/c didn’t you just get Ziggy last weekend? We had two cats growing up and initially it took them like a couple of months to get to the point where they would do anything other than hiss at each other.
The photos are awesome. I’m all about the blue scarf today, not sure why.
Woo hoo, the photo bomb! You’ve been blogging your heart out this weekend and it’s much appreciated!
The cats are adorable!
Thanks for the photo bomb Stacy! Again, thanks for your blogging this weekend, always enjoy your thoughtful commentary.
Forgot to add, Al Jazeera is reporting El Baradei is stepping up to negotiate with Mubarak on behalf of several different opposition groups.

Yes, the cats are doing pretty well.
OT: I just saw this tweeted and it’s a pretty incredible first person account of a protester in Cairo being beaten and harassed by Mubarak’s so-called security police:
