Dear Madam:My country India is the OLDEST melting pot of the world.Yours is the NEWEST.There should be thick friendship and close cooperation between India and US.India is fast emerging as the USA of the East ie United States of Asia. This two-USA theory needs to be understood.Columbus had embarked on his mission and his purpose was to discover India but he landed up in America. But his mission was in fact India.People whom he met there,he called them Indians so they became Red Indians.
There was some misunderstanding between India and US in the Cold War era but that has ended up now and the present state of Indo/US relations is quite OK.This should become still more stronger as both are bastions of democracy and freedom. Our 9/11 had happened
1100 years ago. We are fighting this war for last 1400 years. If Pakistan had not born,9/11 would never have happened.Pakistan should follow B’desh and need to renounce this very word Pakistan which promotes terrorism and jihadi mentality.Pakistan should plainly become “Muslim India” or “Islamic Republic of India” and peacefully live with Secular India.Only US can bring this transformation in Pakistan.Pakistan has become a living embodiment of medieval Muslim Imperialism which its founder Mohammed Ali Jinnah had never contemplated. His demand for Pakistan was as a “Homeland for Indian Muslims” who were in large number in Punjab/NWFP/Sindh/and Baluchistan.India’s partition was a great human tragedy. It ought to have never occurred.Today there are two Punjabs, two Bengals.Sheer nonsense.
Thanks and regards.
So it’s the 20th anniversary of Bill Clinton’s presidential bid- that’s pretty cool. Events all weekend with both of them.
