I am sure it will be a wonderful wedding and I wish both families the best.
Here are some widely circulated photos from the pre-wedding dinner last night:
I just came across this photo of Secretary Clinton visiting Chelsea’s apartment in NYC on Tuesday:
They both look great! I can’t wait to hear more about the wedding. It is so exciting!!
There’s a video about the pics:

Enjoy!
She looks fantastic. I don’t want to sound shallow but she just looks more fabulous with each passing year.
Nice double standard. If I conservative said that you’d be screaming sexism but some dyke says it and it’s ok.
I just love her in that gown! Thanks for posting these, stacy.
I know this is a nonsequitur, buy why do some media outlets keep reporting Oprah might be coming? Her PR flack denied that she was invited weeks ago.
Yes, that gown is amazing. I don’t think I could ever pull off a gown like that but she does it beautifully. She doesn’t wear green too often but she looks great in it.
As for the Oprah thing- I think the media is doing it to generate headlines and direct traffic to their websites, honestly. The media has been speculating and pulling famous names out of thin air for weeks. Is Oprah even close with the Clintons?
Oh, btw, Secretary Clinton has NO public appointments Monday, but she does on Tuesday, so she gets a much-deserved day to relax prior to returning to the State Dept. although as I said the other day, even though she’s not physically at the state dept. she’s still working.
Wow, she looks great. Quite the sexy gown! Hehe!
I really am quite a tolerant person when it comes to leaving comments on this blog, even when those comments are arguably ridiculous or over-the-top. I don’t like to censor or block people, particularly based on viewpoint. I have no problem with people coming here and criticizing my *viewpoints* or disagreeing with me or others based on issues discussed here because I believe in honest debate. In other words, agreeing with me is not a requirement for commenting here.
But at this point AB is just a troll who has nothing to offer in terms of rational debate or discourse so his IP will blocked from this point on.
They both look so happy. I love Bill in the first picture – adorable. The gown is very nice.
For stacy to comment on the fact that Hillary looks fantastic is not sexist. If you want to see sexism, watch some reruns of Chris Mathews during the primaries or all the talk about Hillary’s “cackle” or her being “strident” or the insinuations that she is a lesbian simply because she’s a powerful woman who speaks her mind. It’s obvious that this blog is a monument to Hillary’s daily WORK as SOS, with some personal stuff thrown in.
As for blocking AB- long overdue in my opinion. I totally respect your efforts to be tolerant of people with opposing viewpoints and at times I am in awe of how no matter how hard some people try to bait you, you don’t stoop to their level and instead stick to debating things based on facts. A good example of that is Rebecca Cohen’s comments on the ‘About This Blog’ page.
AB has been nothing but intolerant and disruptive. Good riddance.
From what I’ve seen so far, the only real celebs coming are Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson, and they’ve been friends of the family for many years.
Way to go Stacy! AB is always very negative about Hillary and about your comments; there’s no need to spoil our time reading his hate .By the way Hillary looks STUNNING! more than ever!
They are first class. HRC looked so beautiful. WOW!!! How very exciting. The news media are all excited for the couple. Chelsea and Marc will cherish this weekend forever and so will all of us who love the Clintons.
OK can’t resist – she looks gorgeous, so happy and centered. My girlie crush has just kicked in big time 🙂
Here’s the statement released by the Clintons tonight:
“Today, we watched with great pride and overwhelming emotion as Chelsea and Marc wed in a beautiful ceremony at Astor Courts, surrounded by family and their close friends. We could not have asked for a more perfect day to celebrate the beginning of their life together, and we are so happy to welcome Marc into our family. On behalf of the newlyweds, we want to give special thanks to the people of Rhinebeck for welcoming us and to everyone for their well-wishes on this special day.”
Here are the photos that were released by the clintons.
