    Finally some internet time!

I read your previous post a few days back where everyone was talking about the peace negotiations, or lack therof- it was very interesting. Despite some of the back and forth it seemed like most people were pretty much on the same page.

If the WH did in fact offer this list of insane enticements to try to get Israel just to extend their lousy pretend settlement moratorium then there is no hope for this special relationship and the US needs a divorce.

Despite this denial don’t think for a minute Bibi isn’t trying to milk the US for as much as he can get. If Israel wants peace in the region then they the ones (in addition to the palestinians) who need to make hard choices and concessions and not the US. This whole thing is becoming a joke.

For anyone not totally familiar with our foreign policy antics during the Bush years which helped Hamas to power (much like our antics which brought the extremist regime in Iran to power), check out this article- it’s a couple years old but if you look at it from the perspective of some in the Arab world, it’s pretty obvious why pretty much no one in the Arab world trusts the US. and why when we cry foul about Iran or Hamas, people see it for the smoke screen it is.
