Are they serious with this list?

    • November 15, 2010 4:17 pm

Yes, apparently they are since everyone is voting on those people. Even more telling is to see who is getting most of the votes.

I’d settle for the Chilean miners but that’s about it. This sucks.

@Carolyn- yeah, agreed- it stinks. I’d settle for Liu Xiaobo.

I can’t imagine why some of the people are even on that list. It’s a good snapshot of how the MSM thinks though.

FYI to those interested- here is a Roger Cohen opinion piece in today’s NYT giving Secy Clinton props for her efforts towards Mideast Peace:

TIME has something against Hillary, they never nominate her on their awards. I bet they’ve already selected the one, I hope is not the empty brain Palin.

Speaker Pelosi says the lame-duck Dems will repeal the law of gravity in order to mitigate plane crashes – SPN Headlines reports she also said some strange things in a SHOCKING story at:

    Peace! 🙂

David Cameron? Arne Duncan? LeBron James? Uh, what?

I think the is a perfect representation of the MSM mindset.

Out of all the people in the world they had to choose from they could only come up with a grand total of 6 women, three of which count as one “person” (Elizabeth Warren, Mary Schapiro and Sheila Bair).

I’m surprised the Librul Media didn’t put her on the list for selling out Israel on behalf of Hussein Obama.

What has Hillary done to get on that list? Apparently enough for you clinton apologists She lost the presidency and got secretary of state as a consolation prize.

OT: Stacy, not sure if you saw this lawsuit with AIPAC that the mainstream media is ignoring because it demonstrates once and for all that AIPAC is operating as an agent of a foreign country, against US interests. It also exposes all the media and govt shills who are in AIPAC’s pocket. I hope AIPAC goes D.O.W.N.

This would be a HUGE story given it involves espionage against the US by Americans for a foreign country- except the country is Israel so it’s only non-mainstream sites like the one above that are covering it. So much for a free press.

Anyway, just wanted you to see it if you hadn’t. I know no one else here is interested in this stuff other than maybe Steve.

    Worst. List. Ever.

They should allow a write-in candidates.

@Thain- that could be quite a lawsuit. You know what happens when you turn on the lights- the critters go scurrying away. Given how prestigious and powerful an organization it is with so many politicians, corporate heads and media people as members it’s no wonder there is no information to be found about the lawsuit in the MSM.

Out of everyone, Glenn Beck and the Miners are the only people worth winning. Of course, few will pick Beck for mostly personal reasons so that leaves the miners, but its Person of the Year, not People of the Year.
Seriously though, Lady Gaga? Meat dresses aren’t worthy of this. Tony Hayward! Worst Oil disaster in history and he goes on vacation on his yatch…
    Horrible list this year
