Any yoga practitioners out there? Scooter is doing the Upward Facing Cat pose- simply wrap your leg up under your neck while maintaining this sense of calm and hold the position for two or three hours:
That is quite impressive and she does indeed look very calm. She’s very cute. I have a feeling Scooter doesn’t have too much to be stressed out about 😉
I had to look at that picture for a few minutes before I realized that that’s her foot up by her head- she really is adorable. I have a feeling she and her sister are very well cared for. Will they be making an appearance in a photo bomb tomorrow, perhaps?
Crouching Tiger, Zen-like Scooter?
Love it!
I’m a yoga enthusiast, so here’s a delightful collection of exotic animals doing yoga postures.
Enjoy!

Those are very cute. Not quite as cute as my Scooter, but still cute.
🙂
You haven’t met my Roxy…but yeah, Scooter’s got it going.
Roxy is a cat? What kind?
Tonkinese — such a sweet thang
I have never seen a Tonkinese cat and I actually just had to google it. They are very cute and they look very, very soft. Nice blue eyes too.
If you Googled “tonkinese cats'” there are four thumbnail images that pop up — the one on the right is a dead ringer for Roxy. In case you wanted to know. 😉
I much prefer the upward facing cat to the downward facing dog. 🙂 Are you going to teach Scooter and Notch the “warrior” next?
Heh. Notch doesn’t need to be taught the Warrior Pose- she does that regularly on her own when Scooter invades her personal space, which is about once an hour. She adds her own twist on it by also hissing and putting her ears back totally flat on her head. I wish I could get a picture of it.
@Carolyn- when I googled “Tonkinese Cats” just now six thumbnails came up, not four so I’m not sure if it’s the fourth one in or the last one on the right- or neither:

Ah! Now she’s third from the right.
The day Roxy came into our lives, I’d gone to Animal Rescue to adopt a kitten as a Hannukah present for my boys. I waited on a long line, picked out an adorable kitten, fell in love, and waited for the adoption person to get back from lunch to pay the $35 fee and head home…The adoption person never came back, dusk was falling, and I still didn’t have my gift. So, what else coukd I do? I went to a pet store, immediately saw Roxanne and asked how much?
Nine-hundred dollars later, I made two little boys very happy. We call her our million dollar baby because it wasn’t long before she had to have all her teeth pulled, a liver cyst removed, and other stuff I can’t remember. Now she’s 14 and going strong. Total sweetheart.
Wow, $900! But any animal is worth it. Does she have the same meow as Siamese cats do?
She opens her mouth and makes meowing movements but barely a sound comes out! It’s like a whispered “Ach.”
I actually don’t know how Siamese cats sound.
I love cats.
